Dear Patients:
As you are aware, the COVID-19 virus is having a significant impact on many communities around the country. Our Providers have been closely monitoring the situation – including the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and other health organizations. We have developed a pro-active response plan that takes steps to ensure that we help protect the health and safety of our staff and patients. We would like to update you on a few of these precautions:
We Remain Open to Serve You - The promise of our practice is to provide the highest quality care to our patients. We plan to remain open during our normal hours of operation and will notify you if there are any changes. We will be here to help you with your medical needs.
Enhanced Cleanliness – We have always kept a high standard of cleaning procedures to maintain the cleanliness of our offices and equipment. But in this new situation, we have implemented additional incremental cleaning protocols to help ensure we minimize the risk of any transmission of germs or viruses. Your health and safety are our top concern.
Appointments – We are here for all your needs and our staff is ready to assist you. But if you are 65 or older or have severe health issues, and would like to reschedule your appointment, we will be happy to accommodate you.
Screening – We are implementing a new phone and check-in screening process to proactively identify potentially infected patients. For this plan to be successful, call our office if you meet any of the following high-risk criteria:
- Fever with cough and/or shortness of breath
- Recently traveled out of the country
- Been exposed to someone diagnosed with Coronavirus or COVID-19
A provider from our office will get in touch with you on how to best manage your symptoms.
